LM5008A: Max voltage on SW pin

In the datasheet at the section absolute max ratings is written SW to GND (Steady State) -1V

Can you tel me what the momentary max rating is on this pin.

If I measure in my circuit i see a value witch is approx 1.2V, can you tel me if this can cause troubles?

Hi:

How long of 1.2V(I think is should be -1.2V)? if you are in switching and very short time reach -1.2V, it should be OK. larger than -1V will make the inner esd diode conductor. it go large current, it will damge the chip.

Thanks for the answer,

the signal is indeed -1.2V and the duration of the signal is approx 50ns.
