TLV704: tlv70433

Part Number: TLV704

TLV70433-----As shown in the figure below(Tlv70433 is welded on PCB instead of ht7533), DC20V DC voltage is added between in1 and in2, and the power consumption of output load is only 10mA. After power on, tlv70433 will burn quickly. Please help to analyze the cause? The adjustment of CIN and cout to 0.1uf/1uf, 1uF / 2.2uf, and the parallel connection of TVs at the input end did not play an effective role.At the moment of power on, the Pin2 waveform was measured with an oscilloscope, and no overshoot was found.

  • Hi Zhang,

How much total capacitance is on the 3.3V rail? With large capacitance on VOUT, it might be possible to make the device fail.

Also, the diode bridge makes me question is the input really DC? If it is, what is clamping the peak voltage? if not, why is there a diode bridge?

The TPS709 is also low Iq and is a 30V tolerant device.

    I hope this helps.
