Hello,
I would like to confirm NC pin treatment of DRV package.
In p18 of datasheet, pin2 (NC) is connected pin1(OUT), and pin5(NC) is connected to pin6 (IN). Why are these NC pins connected to other pin?
Best Regards,
Katsu

Hi Katsu,
These pins are connected to the power planes/traces in order to improve the thermal dissipation of the package. In general we recommend connecting them to the PCB but it is not required to connect them to the IN and OUT pins, they can also be left floating or connected to GND or some other voltage node if you'd prefer.
Hi Kyle-san,
Thank you for your support.
I understand it.
Best regards, Katsu
