Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61020, TPS61029,
Dear Support, I've got the same question: is the TINA model available for this device ?
Thanks in advance for support
Best regards.

Hi Gianluca:
We have TPS61020 TINA model available. The mainly difference is the current capability.
May I know if it is ok for you?
Hi Minqiu,
thanks, but I downloaded TI model Library and already have model of TPS61020.
In order to try a more precise simulation I was looking for TPS61029-Q1 or TPS61029. Unfortunately none of them is included in the library, nor available in Webench.
Best Regards
Gianluca
Hi Gianluca:
So sorry that we don't have TPS61029 version. But in other words, it's not a good idea to simulate the worst case. The tolerance of the current limit is little wide. As 1.5A minimum and 2.1A maximum.
May I know what's your Vin, Vout range, load condition and inductance value? So that I can help to check if the TPS61029 has such current capability.
Hi Minqiu,
please find information herewith in the following:
Vin range: 2V9-3V3
Vout: 5V
Load: current pulses < 1A peak pulses.
Inductance: 6.8uH
Current capability of TPS61029 should not be an issue because it's derived from other projects and in this particular one is over-sized.
I think I could proceed using model of TPS61020, because they're quite similar.
Best regards.
Gianluca
