TPS61236P: I'm trying to use an LDO voltage instead of a battery as the input voltage.

Part Number: TPS61236P

Dear TI team,

I have a question if TPS61236P would be possible for me to achieve my goal.

I have an LDO voltage which would be an input voltage (3.3V, 80mA) and I want to boost it to get an output voltage of 5V, and, with an output current of 3A if possible.

1. So, would TPS61236P be able to receive that LDO voltage as the input voltage instead of receiving from a battery?

2. Would TPS61236P be able to produce an output current of 3A with the mentioned LDO voltage (3.3V, 80mA), as I saw in the datasheet that it has the CC operation after CV operation?

FYI, my load would actually be a battery charge management IC.

Please do correct me if there is any of my understanding that might be wrong.

Thank you!
