Hi,

i have used TPS54627 in my board, you can see schematic and PCB layout at attached.

so the problem is that it is working when no load condition , but when it is loaded as 1A/5V , the IC is broken..

Could you share your opinions about this with me please..

By the way , there is 1000uF cap at 12V supply which is not shown on schematic..

Hi Eren,

I still suggest to add a 0.1uF+22uF cap close to VIN pin to suppress high-frequency noise, 1000uF is too large which i can't even see it on your shown layout.

ın this morning i have solved break problem but now the problem is that the output is not stable..

Hi Eren,

How did you solve the break problem?

Can you measure an unstable waveform including Vin, Vout, SW?

the promlem is about thermal surface o top layer, i soldered close thermal pad.

and this is SW(in front of output inductance) at no load condition..

I don't support this part but I think I happened to notice the issue in the schematic when this came through. The VBST cap is connected to the wrong side of the inductor.
