BQ25570EVM-206 : BQ25570EVM-206 : error issue

Part Number: BQ25570EVM-206
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25570

It seems that VSTOR pin and EN pin are connected in board bq25570.

When measuring with a multimeter, a beep was heard.

I can't see that the circuitry on the board is connected to EN pin and VSTOR.

I don't know why it looks like it's connected in an experiment. The moment I connect the EN pin with the GND, the value of VSTOR immediately drops to zero.

I want to start the board, but I can't go ahead with anything because the price is zero.

I don't know why I have to connect the EN pin to the GND.

Can you elaborate on this?

  • Hi Sanghyun,

Jumper J2 connects to /EN and allows to either short /EN to GND or connect to VBAT, which is connected to VSTOR through the internal PFET between them.  Unless there is a solder short on the back of the board that connects VBAT to /EN at JP2, the IC is damaged internally.
