LP3905: outputs voltage

Part Number: LP3905
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP3907

Hi Team,

In LP3905 datasheet has specify that :

Bucks outputs range: 1.0~3.3V and LDOs ouput range: 1.5V to 3.3V. with note (1)

   (1) Fixed output voltage devices can be customized to fit system package. requirements.

Here need your help to see if we have available device or any limit to supply the LP3905 with the spec for 3.3Vin and two Bucks: 1.2V_0.45A and 1.6V_0.45A  / one LDO 1.8V_50mA?

Best regards,

Albert Lee.

  • Hi Albert,

I am working with the team to see what options we have available for the LP3905. I will be able to get back to you with an update here tomorrow.

    Thanks,

    Gerard

  • Hi Albert,

Unfortunately, this is an older device with limited support for new output voltage settings. Is it possible to consider the LP3907 for this application? This is a newer version of the PMIC with I2C programmability to configure the buck and LDO output voltages. We also have a new device, the TPS650330, which can support the output voltage requirements with an integrated mid-voltage buck to generate 3.3 V.

If you can share some more information about the application, I may be able to make a more suitable recommendation.

    Thanks,

    Gerard
