Hi,

I met a BQ40Z80 SMBus issue. Detail as follows.

In the TRM chapter 18 "SBS Commands", the "read Chemical ID" example: (use word read)

I typed in all the data as required, but seems can't get the right answer, shown below.

Is there something i missed? Feel free to tell me if you have any suggestions.

Hi Mason,

To read back the results, you need to use the block read instead of the read word.

Hi Andy,

Sorry for my carelessness, so do we have to read the result only via block read? As the 2 read examples shown in the TRM are both block read.
