LM63635-Q1: Is it possible to use it for 3.25A load?

Hi team,

Is LM63635-Q1 suitable for 3.25A load?

Datasheet says low side current limit is 3Amin. Isn't it matter for being 3.25A output current form this device?

Hi Ochi,

If the inductor ripple current is 20% of load current, then valley current is 3.25*0.9=2.925, it's lower than the 3A minimal.

So it's better to set ripple current to 30% or higher if full load current reach 3.25A.
