I have two questions about the Via shown on the land pattern of TPS61089, datasheet p27.

1. what is the function of the Via shown in the picture below?

2. what is the meaning of SYMM?

3. What should I do with this Via, when I do PCB layout?

I replied you question on line, please check below comments:

1. what is the function of the Via shown in the picture below? --> It is for thermal dissipation.

2. what is the meaning of SYMM? --> symmetrical mechanical structure

3. What should I do with this Via, when I do PCB layout? --> Suggest you add it to the pcb lib. You can refer to the TPS61089EVM for a reference.
