TPIC6C596: TPIC6C596 serial clock pin

Hi all,

I am using ESP32 to drive a couple of LEDs using TPIC6C596. I wanted to know is it necessary to use a serial clock pin on ESP32 like pin 18 SCK to drive the SRCK pin of the TPIC6C596. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your answer. Does the pin have to be a serial clock pin or other pins like PWM pins can work too?

Hi Jatin,

You need to provide a serial clock to this pin for normal operation.
