Hi ,

Is there any other IC in BQ297 series that supports OCC ,OCD, OVP, UVP for 12V Lead Acid Battery .

I'm afraid we don't have a good offering for Lead Acid battery as protectors.If you decide to move to Li based batteries then we have a full selection. Thanks

Hi Sandy ,

Thanks for reply. Can i use this IC with 12v batery? By using voltage divider between BAT terminal and Source.
Is there any spice model available for BQ2970 IC ?

Hi Tantravahi,

I"m afraid SPICE model is not available for this part.

If you can use external circuits to regulate input to the range BQ2970 is designed to be per DS, should be OK. For example, the tripping voltage for OVP is offered at somewhere between 3.85V and 4.425V today.
