BQ26100: LiFePO4 Authentication and Protection

Part Number: BQ26100

Hi Team, we just want to confirm if the BQ26100 and BQ29700 would work on LiFePO4.

Battery: Headway 38120S

Charger: Support LiFePO4 Batteries

    hi Mark Philip,
    BQ26100 is an authentication IC which works with any battery chemistry → will work with LiFePO4.
    BQ29700 will not work with a 1s LiFePO4 battery (OVP too higher vs. LiFePO4 nominal voltage).  I do not think we have a solution for a 1s LiFePO4 battery.
