Hi Shirish,
thanks for your answer.
How can I generate a *.dfi or a *.rom. I know these files only from bq20z95 or 20z65 with
the the bq Evaluation Software (http://www.ti.com/tool/BQ20Z65-R1_BQEVSW-SW).
For the bq2085 I have to use the bqEVSW, isn´t it? Where can I read back a *.dfi?
Is there a other EVSW for the bq2085?
The reason why I do this is because I want to understand the bq2085 better. We have some old products that may need a cell change.
Thanks for helping us.
srec/senc files are normally used to program memory. The bq2085 srec/senc file is not referenced in any document or guide that TI provided for the bq2085. The other thread where the senc was posted for bq2085 was probably for a specific use case, is of unknown origin, and we discourage its use.
The bq2085 comes preprogrammed with default data. Refer page 38 and 39 of the Datasheet (Memory map section)for information related to the programmable memory. The Data Flash screen of the evaluation software has all the functions to modify this memory.
