Hi Team,
Do we have an alternative die version of the obsolete LM109K?

Hello Danilo,
The "LM109K" is not obsolete. The proper full name of the part is "LM109K STEEL".
Originally "LM109K", without the "STEEL" indicated the metal can was made of aluminum, but that part was discontinued in the 1970s. Today, I believe that you can use the alternative part name "LM109K" for the "LM109K STEEL"
Hi JCHK,
Do we have a die version of LM117? If we have I will try to propose to the customer.
Hi Kirby,
Thank you for the clarification. The customer needs a die version of a 5V fixed voltage regulator. Do we have a die version of LM109K STEEL?
Regards,
Danilo
Thanks for the clarification.
Here is a link to the power products we sell as die:

Probably the closest replacement is the LM140QML. It is a linear regulator with a fixed 5V output option. The die is only available in military grade. Part number is LM140KG-5.0 MD8
The LM117 is an adjustable linear regulator which is also available in military grade plus space grade.
Hi Kirby,
I have proposed the LM140KG-5 MD8 to the customer since this part is not obsolete. I just wondering why it is included in the datasheet but not available in the product page.

Danilo
