    Hi HSG,

    The thermal impedance specified in the CSD87331Q3D includes two line items for RthetaJC: one to the top of the package and one to the PGND pin which includes the large thermal pad on the bottom of the package. You can consider this second one to be RthetaJB (junction to bottom of package). You can learn more about how we spec thermal impedance by visiting the Support & training tab of the MOSFET landing page in the Understanding MOSFET data sheets section.
