BQ25600: how to disable BQ25600 throgh I2C?

Hi Team,

As subject , kindly ask how to disable BQ25600 throgh I2C?

I would like to let device PWM stop switching(not charging or discharging , no Vsys out, no PMID out as well),

per my check from d/s , we can set REG00's bit 7 to let device go into HIZ mode, however , there's no detail description on how device operation in HIZ mode , what does HIZ mode? and can it achieve my requirement above?

Hi,

Referring to 8.3.3.1 Power Up REGN Regulation on the d/s, HIZ refers to high impedance mode. When the device is in HIZ, REGN LDO is off, the device draws less than IVBUS_HIZ from VBUS and the battery powers up the system if battery is present. And the charger does not switch.

Hi Ning,

I had let customer to try disable charger(not switching) with operating HIZ mode,

I would like to quick check , when I set the REG00's bit 7=1 ,BQ25600 will in HIZ mode ,

the charging will stop even the CE pin is high , is this correct?
