LMR64010: Alternative with wide input voltage

Hi All,

a customer took a look at the LMR64010 and he /she is looking for a similar boost converter (switch integrated that fulfills the following specs:

Vin =from 7 to 18V
Vout=from 38 to 40V

Cost is critical. A target price is the LMR64010's cost. The customer is also considering the competition.

Hi Riccardo,

LMR64010 input voltage ragne is 2.7V to 14V so doesn't fit for this application.

How about TPS61170? What's the output load current range? Please also double check the current capability.

Hi Zack,

the TPS61170 is ok from a technical standpoint but the customer is looking for something cheaper. Do you have any suggestions?

We're trying to take share from competition, specifically the STLD41. If you would like to take this offline, please let me know.
