LP8556: using LED controller with a single LED string.

Hello, 

I would like to control a TFT backlight like the following one:

I only have two pin available for the backlight. the led string is 3x6 LEDs, but the 3 strings and connected in pararell. So, I would like to use only one output from your LP8556. Is it possible to use only one of the six outputs?

Could I use any other TI chip controlled by I2C? This chip family LP855X has LINUX drivers, and I would like to control the backlight in linux easily.
