Helloo,

I am looking further for a CCCV application using LM5117 and is unable to calculate the values of components confidentaly, My doubts are that what must be resistor used with CM pin.

How does it switch from CC mode to CV mode when 40V of battery voltage is achieved and others, Would you please guide me to the right reference for component value selection as i have already gone through6866.snva829.pdf the attached file and still facing difficulties, also kindly help me with a tool where i can simulate the entire circuit as well.

My requirements are 42V and 5A for battery charging which switches to CV mode once battery is 80% charged.

#36V Li-Ion NMC battery

Hii David,

I read this like a lot many times but i am not sure whether this gives us transition of modes from cc to cv once battery is 80% charged and also i am unable to get the confidence for value calculation as somethings are really not clear and still there are many challenges calculating those values, kindly help me with value selection, i wont mind shifting to private messages for same when closing this at the same time
