Hi, Is there a signal we can use to tell a control system that the part has shutdown due to over temperature- could the power good tells us anything- I note the the internal regulator is kept alive?

Hello Ajay,
Power Good is an indication of VOUT going out of regulation, and that can be because of thermal shutdown, hiccup, or any other fault scenario.
There is no particular one signal available indicating the thermal shutdown specifically, but I would recommend using the power good signal in your control system as an indication of a fault scenario.
I hope this helps!

HI Ankit, thanks for this- I could not see anywhere in the data sheet that specifically says thermal shutdown pulls PG to ground- but if thi sis the case that is great.
