BQ2004: BQ2004H stops Charging after 23 Min

I try to charge a two or three cell NIMH Akku using a BQ2004H.

Charging stops always after 23 minutes.

Can You give me a Hint what i am doing wrong?

Here is the configuration:

VCC 5V stabilized

DCMD VCC

DSEL VCC

VSEl Float

TM1 VCC

TM2 Float

TCO 1,2V related to Vss

TS 1,8V related to V_SNS

    Hi Fabian,

        From table 1 showing the fast charge timer settings, a setting of TM1 = Float and TM2 = Float result in a fast charge safety timer setting of 23 minutes, and so does TM1= High, and TM2 = High. Please verify your actual measured voltage on these pins as it looks like charge is stopping because of the configuration of TM1, TM2.

    Dear Kedar,

    i found out that the pullup resistior on TM1 with 100K was way to high.

    (Voltage on TM1 was 5V nonetheless ?!?)

    Changing it to 1K solved the problem.
