I am working on a new design, using this IC for the first time. I have double checked the data sheet pinout vs the PCB.
GND and power are connected. I can either drive the EN pin high / low, or let the USB hub IC drive it - in no case does the output pin turn on. The output load is not shorted. If I bypass this switch with a jumper, the loads power up. The *fault* pin is high regardless of any other condition, so It doesn't' seem to be in shutdown / protect mode.
According to the data sheet, the EN pin high should turn on the output, yet it does not.
I have 2 prototype PCBs built, and both are doing the same thing.
