Hi,
My customer has the following requirements for an automotive load switch:
Vin = 10-16V
Iout = max 6A for 20ms, nominal 3.5A
I suggested the TPS1HBxx-Q1 family, but the current limit accuracy at 25% is too low for what they’d like to achieve, they would like < 10%. I looked at the LM5060-Q1 as well, but it doesn't look like the current limiting accuracy would be any better.
Is there an automotive qualified input protection device that could work here, avoiding paralleling if possible?
