Dear all,

About the difference between TPS2124 and TPS2120. I understand that the main difference is output current limit.

Please tell me the other difference, that is, the feature of TPS2124.

And, There is no description of "Hotplugging with TPS212x" (datasheet of TPS2120/2121) in the datasheet of TPS2124. 

Are there any measures against hotplugs?

    Hi Luna,

    Welcome to E2E!

    The TPS2120 and TPS2124 are functionally equivalent pin-to-pin devices. The only difference is that the TPS2124 has been optimized to support the lower current limit settings than the TPS2120. As of right now there is no description of the Hot plugging scenario that the TPS212x datasheet has, but the same concepts apply to the TPS2124. If the system will encounter a hot plug event I would recommend using a TVS a described in the section you mentioned: "10.7 Hotplugging with TPS212x"
