LM5113: Can I ground HS to drive individual FETs?

Part Number: LM5113

In my application, each driven FET has its own VDD connection to the drain and the source of each FET is connected to GND; i.e., the bottom FET drain is *not* connected to the source of the top FET. Can I connect the LM5113 HS pin to GND and eliminate the bootstrap components?

Hi Brian,

Thanks for reaching out on lm5113.

That's correct, grounding the HS pin removes the need for a bootstrap as both FETs being driven by HO and LO are low side FETs that don't require a high side supply.
