BQ24090: Possible to use temp sensor when charger is not used?

Part Number: BQ24090

Hi

I would like to use the NTC resistor that are connected to the TS pin to measure cell temperature when our application is not charged. In the datasheet I find this. The bq2409x family is in power down mode if the IN pin voltage is less than UVLO. The part is considered “dead” and all the pins are high impedance" Is it possible to source the NTC resistor with an external current when the charger has no input voltage and read the voltage with a ADC? How high impedance will the TS pin have under this condition?

Or are there other ways to use the NTC resistor when charger is not used?

Best regards

Magnus
