Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMZ31710, LMZ21701,
HI TI team,
Can I leave power good pin (PGOOD) floating if power good functionality is not required? What does TI recommend?
Thanks,
Binayak

Hi Binayak,
I see you have asked this question about TPSM84X24, TPSM84A22, LMZ21701, and LMZ31710.
PGOOD is just a simple open drain FET output for these devices and for most (if not all) TI power devices with the PGOOD feature. This FET is often shown in the datasheet Functional Block Diagram. Leaving the pin floating is fine if you do not intend to use the output for any signalling or monitoring purposes, and I see customers do this all the time.
