ISO5852S-EP: UVLO threshold voltage

Part Number: ISO5852S-EP

Please tell me about the threshold voltage of UVLO.

Negative-going UVLO2 threshold-voltage in the data sheet output side is MIN:9.5V , TYP:11V .

What is the maximum value Voltage.

Does UVLO work at about 12V?

  • Hi, thanks for your question.

Unfortuntately we dont have public data on negative-going UVLO2 threshold voltage for ISO5852S-EP.

Yes, UVLO voltage at 12V, positive going threshold is 12V, so there is 1V hysteresis which aids in avoiding false turn-on since the driver can live in a noisy environment.

Although i couldn't give you the exact stats, the min/max for UVLO2 is more like an absolute worst case spec across process and temp that is determined in the development process of spec which is often looser than what the ICs actually provide. Some of our other ICs have this type of data and the UVLO is essentially very stable at the Typ voltages, so you should be able to be confident in those TYP values.

i hope this answers your question somewhat. Please let me know if i did by pressing the green button and feel free to ask any further questions.

  • Thank you for your reply.

Is it possible to think that uvlo2 may operate at a typ value or higher?
  • Hi,

It is possible that UVLO2 will not be exactly typical value, depending on temperature and the process variation of that specific IC, but TI guarantees performance within the datasheet limits.
