Hello,
We have an application where two BQ24190 have to charge the same battery.
The users connects a 5V supply either to the first or to the second. Schematic is attached.
We did not connect the VSYS of the second charger to the load, because this causes overvoltages on the battery, for any reasons.
Our problem is that the second charger doesn't measure the charging current properly.
When the battery is full, we measure a low current into the battery (50mA for example), but output pin STAT stays low.
Can you explain how the bq24190 measure the current to/from the battery ?
