Hi Team,

I am lookding for PMIC which satisfy below requirements:

Output:

1.2V-500mA MAX

1.8V-300mA MAX

2.5V-200mA MAX

2.8V-300mA MAX

 3.3V-200mA MAX

Input:3.7V~5V;

Size: within 4*4mm

I find TPS650250 but it can't satisfy size requirement, do you have other recommended device?

  • TPS650231 is a good PMIC for size-constrained applications. It is similar to TPS650250.

    The only challenge with TPS650231 here is that DEFLDO1/2 pins set the LDO1/2 output voltage:

    DEFLDO2   DEFLDO1  VLDO1  VLDO2 
    0 1.3 V  3.3 V
    0 1 2.8 V  3.3 V
    1 0 1.3 V  1.8 V
    1 1  2.1 V  3.3 V

    If you can control the LDOs by I2C before enabling them, then you can generate 2.6V from LDO1 (not 2.5V) and 3.3V from LDO2. Otherwise, you would have to use LDO1=2.8V, LDO2=3.3V and make sure that the load current on LDO1 is not >200mA for a long period of time. The short-circuit current limit is 400mA so it will not shut off, but the output voltage might drop or the FET will get hot.

    This is the best option to generate 5 voltage rails in a small package size.
