TL7700CPWR Power Supply

Hi,

I have a question regarding the power supply for TL7700CPWR.

I used this supervisory in the circuit for which I want to shut down the voltage regulator when the sense voltage goes below a certain threshold.

Can I connect the TL7700CPWR VCC to another independent voltage regulator? (i-e.5 Volts) and make sense of the 3.3 V?

    Hi Mahdi,

    Yes, the intent of the SENSE pin is actually to be able to detect a different rail. You can use the configuration you mentioned (SENSE independent of VDD) as long as VDD > SENSE. You can also tie SENSE to VDD to detect the main rail.
