Hi team,

My customer meets some weird issue, The SS cap is damaged, but the socket is ok. I will share the cap datasheet below. Could you please help check  which condition may damage the SS cap? Thanks.

    Hi Frank,

    I don't believe there is any way the TPS54622 can damage the SS cap. This pin is just a current source to charge the cap during startup. The current source can only charge the SS pin voltage to approximately 1.8V. This should be well below the voltage rating of the SS cap. The SS pin also has some discharge resistance that is switched in during faults or before startup to bring the SS voltage to ground.
