I have a question for Ta and Tj range for TPS62120.
I think usually Tj is used for operating temperature range of power devices.
But TPS62120 datasheet defines its temperature range by both Tj(-40 to 125C) and Ta(-40 to 85C).
And note(1) for Ta in the datasheet explains that Ta may have to be derated depending on its power dissipation etc.
I can understand what note(1) want to say.
My question is reverse of note(1).
If power dissipation is small and Tj is less than 125C, Does the user still have to keep Ta under 85C?
I mean, does Ta need to be taken care?
