LMZ20502: delayed startup using RC filter on EN input

Part Number: LMZ20502
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS82084, TPSM82822

I would like to delay the startup of the LMZ20502, with a wide relative tolerance for timing accuracy (eg 8-12ms is fine with me).  While I recognize that EN is not listed as a "precision enable", for such coarse timing requirements, are there any considerations to not simply apply an RC-based voltage ramp to the EN pin (sourced by the up-stream converter)?

I tried it in sim (100k and 1uF), and it worked as I would expect - though I recognize the EN pin is most likely not fully modeled and the actual part may behave differently.

I am specifically interested in using this method to reduce the BOM, the fact I don't need a precise sequence, and reducing layout size.

Thanks,

Will
