How to generate -21.5V if I only have 5V power rail

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP15012, LMR16020

Hi team,

Could you suggest me the total solution to generate output -21.5V/-0.5A if I only have 5V power rail?

Roy

  • Hi Roy,

You need to consider a buck controller/converter in the inverting buck-boost configuration. Please reach out to BSR group, and also referring to something like PMP15012.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Youhao,

I think PMP15012 may help me. Our desire spec is 21.5V/0.5A and 5V in input.

But I couldn't see the design procedure in APP note. Could you let me know if we have corresponding design procedure? Thank you.

    Regards,

    Roy

  • Please contact the buck group, or create a new post with the LMR16020 in the subject, then your question will be forwarded to the right engineer.

We are boost and buck boost group and sorry I do not know the engineer who is responsible for LMR16020.

    Thanks,

    Youhao
