Hello,

I've noticed that with deafould PCB configuration (directly of the shelf) the converter behaves in strange way:

When DC supply is applied first, then 5A load everything is ok,

but when I've got the load applied first (1Ohm resistor at 5V) then I connect 20Vdc input the output goes low to about 3V and 5A.

Is it normal LMZM33606 behaviour?

    Hi Adam,

    Can you provide waveform scopeshot of VIN,VOUT,I_IN and IOUT during startup to confirm?

    The EVM should not have the issue you described. Please see Figure 46 for a 24Vin,5Vout, 6A load start-up waveform which is similar to your application.

    Have you checked whether your input supply can handle the input current during startup for your condition? Perhaps it's an input supply current limit issue.
