I am looking for a suitable solution for IR LED with the below applications. Please help, thank you.
Application :
4pcs IR LED will be used, thus it's peak current is about 1.5A * 4 = 6A
IR LED is target to be on 2ms on every 33ms. (2ms on, then 31ms off....etc)
To reduce the peak current demand from the battery to a minimum, high-capacity storage capacitor on the output of the regulator will be considered.
Forward voltage 3.15V typ / pcs
Does LM3550 suitable or do you have a better suggestion?
