LM5041: Problem with convergence in TINA-TI Reference Design

Hi Experts

My customer is trying to use the TINA-TI reference design for LM5041 as a starting point for simulating his circuit.

Unfortunately there are issues with convergence and getting simulation to complete with the reference design. Even after changing some of the Analysis Parameters and getting the simulation to run, if I re-open the updated design and try to simulate I again encounter convergence problems.

Please help find a consistent method to avoid the convergence issues.

Hi Jim,

It sounds like you can get the file to simulate but when you close the file and when you re-open it, it fails to converge? Are the changes you make to the simulation options being saved when you close the file?

There have been a number of e2e post on TINA convergence issues which may be of help.

There is also a TINA website which has FAQ's which includes convergence issues.
