Hi team,

Why the COMP pin for LM3478 is connect between the error amp output and GND, instead of error amp output and FB pin? And what are the difference between these two connection?

LM5118 COMP pin is connected between FB and error amp outptu.

    Hello Fery,

    In the block diagram of the LM3478 you can see that the error amplifier in this device is a gm stage. So the output of this amplifier is current, not voltage. This is the reason that the compensation is connected to GND and not to FB.
