TPS7A84A: EN voltage

Part Number: TPS7A84A

Hi Team,

in datasheet,

in recommended operation conditions , EN pin voltage range is 0 to Vin.

in EC table, EN range is up to 6.5V.

So in below application, 1.2Vin to 0.9Vout, please kindly check whether a 1.8V voltage can be used to pull up EN or it must be below 1.2Vin. Thanks.

  • HI Given,

Yes. Enable can be 1.8V with VIN at 1.2V. You can tell this from the absolute maximum ratings table:

If EN could not be higher than VIN, you would see its absolute maximum rating listed the same and SNS and OUT where the pin should not be higher than VIN+0.3V.
