BQ24650: Solar Charge Controller is not charging Battery when using AC-DC Adapter as Input

We are using BQ24650 to charge NMC battery. We are using solar panel as power supply to Solar charge controller. But if we try to charge it with AC-DC Adapter, solar charge controller is charging battery with 0.3A only. When I checked input voltage to solar charge controller with AC-DC Adapter, it is showing ripples in input voltage. These ripples are not observing with solar panel.

When I Checked the same AC-DC Adapter with one older board (BQ24650 bought one year ago), charge controller charging the battery with 4A.

Can you please suggest what could be wrong?

Please ask any other information required?

    Srinivas,

    Do you have a capture of these ripples? It seems the input adapter is crashing. Are you using an EVM in both cases or your own custom design? If the latter, then what changed between the two revisions?
