LM5108: Negative Voltage Transient on HS Pin

Hello,

We are evaluating the LM5108 and had a question on the Negative Voltage Transient capability of the HS Pin.

The abs max voltage range on HS pin is -5 to 105V. Is the -5V a DC voltage value? Is there lower voltage transient specification?

Hello Keith,

The LM5108 HS negative voltage datasheet specification for HS is -5V as you mentioned and it is a DC value. There is not an increased rating for transient on the negative HS voltage.

There is a similar driver which is the UCC27282 which has a lower negative HS rating at -10V DC and -14V for 100ns. The datasheet can be found here:
