Hello Team,

My customer is evaluating LM74610-Q1,  and when check its compatibility with ISO7637-2 pulse 3, feedback since the pulse 3 testing require the system sill be work well during the testing, but looks like LM74610-Q1 will be shut off as the negative voltage/reverse protection.

So could you kindly help to double check: Whether LM74610-q1 can be compatible with ISO7637-2 pulse 3?

    Hello Cheney,

    Yes, LM74610-Q1 is compatible with ISO 7637-2 Pulse 3.

    ISO 7637-2 Pulse 3 is very fast transient and it lasts only 200ns maximum and LM74610-Q1 will not turn off because the reverse turn off delay (Trecovery) is 2.2us (max 5us). If the pulse lasts only for small amount of time, reverse comparator will not turn off within 200ns.
