What's the load condition? If the load is light, the device may work in PFM, and the Vout will be a little higher than normal operation.

the load is approximately 44Ω,  the device may work in PFM.

back to the my first question, what will happen?

I use TPS61093 for setting output voltage 8.0(tolerance±0.3V).

When output voltage comes from other unit, and its value is 8.4V above the setting output voltage, what will happen.

IC is damaged? or break?
