TPS22976: VBIAS and IN capacitor values

HI,

Is there a strict regulation about the capacitor values on VIN and VBIAS pin?  Can it be 0.1uF for both of them?  What is the consideration here?

    Hi Anthony,

    The input capacitor here is mainly used for decoupling or to stabilize the input rail. 

    There is no strict requirement for input capacitor values and I believe that both can be 0.1uF. A larger input capacitance would be helpful if you are expecting large bursts of current and you believe the source would not be strong enough to supply this power.
