    1. There is a good general explanation of USB applications in the datasheet (pg 20) as well as power distrubution requirements or host/SP and BP on pg 21.

    2. There are several conditions that may apply. Refer to the input current table at the top of pg 6 and choose your condition. Then multiply the current values (choose typical or maximum) by the voltage value.

    3 & 4. Again, from the input current table choose your input power method (BP or SP). Then use the appropriate current value. The current values for all switches enabled or disabled doesn't change so the # of switches powered has minimal influence on input current.
