UCC28C42: UCC28C42

Part Number: UCC28C42

To get the ability to adjust the magnetics design, I used the UNENCRYPTED TI.lib file in the UCC28C42 web page.  I was able to download it, and unzip it (SLUM522.zip) which shows that it is a PSPICE Model generated by Aei.  I was able to do the auto symbol creation from the TI.lib file in LTSpice.  Now, whether I use a .include or a .lib statement in the main simulation, I get an "error - unable to open TI.lib".  I have stared for hours at the model, an attempted to avoid listing and checking all of the referenced subcircuits.  Why won't it open - - Other TI models have had no trouble at all.  My thinking is that this must be an older model.

  • Hi William!

Thanks so much for getting in touch with us! Since LTSpice is a competitor's analysis software, we are unable to support direct issues with LTSpice simulations. TI recently released PSPICE For TI for simulation use. For tips on simulating with PSPICE For TI, please take a look here for a list of resources.

Thank you again for reaching out, I hope this information helps you with your design!
