LM3466: LM3466 - thermal resistance when used with heatsink - need this value for calculations/simulations

Hi guys,

I am looking for the thermal resistance value for LM3466 (TO-220 package) when I use a heatsink.

There is no such value on the specsheet, only for free air convection.

Hello Michael,

This is from the datasheet:

So for junction to case for the TO-220 it is 0.3 C/W. The rest of the calculations depend on the heatsink, heatsink interface (thermal compound), air flow as well as other variables.
